Wiley is delighted to partner with LOGOS Property Group to design build a custom facility for Youfoodz, unlocking significant efficiencies and growth potential for the game-changing ready meals supplier.

The project is being delivered in partnership with LOGOS Property Group at its Berrinba Logistics Estate in south-west Brisbane.

LOGOS’ Head of Australia & New Zealand Darren Searle commented: “LOGOS has a strong track record in developing world-class food and logistics facilities in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia. We are excited to build this facility for Youfoodz in partnership with Wiley.”

Youfoodz CEO Lance Giles said: “This is a significant project in the evolution of Youfoodz, which is expected to deliver considerable benefits to the company, our employees, customers and suppliers.”

The appointment follows a period of consultation and collaborative design work between the respective parties. Wiley were initially engaged by Youfoodz in late 2020 to consult on early-stage design and plant equipment requirements for the greenfield facility.

The new 13,700m2 environmentally-friendly facility combines Youfoodz’ three existing production sites and its marketing, administration, distribution and operations functions together into a single location.

Youfoodz COO Jonathan Salt added: “The partnership between Wiley, LOGOS and Youfoodz on the project was a natural fit for three organisations committed to delivering a world-class facility.”

Tom Wilson, Operations Manager for Wiley added “Once we started on the project, we identified many ways to add value beyond the original scope to deliver superior outcomes for Youfoodz.”

“Our extensive experience in designing and building food facilities means we’re uniquely positioned to provide the right advice at the right time to meet Youfoodz’ requirements, now and into the future.”

On-site construction is due to commence in October.
